Co-Funding and Co-Sponsorship Information
The Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is committed to supporting UCSC activities, projects and events that reflect its mission to promote a campus that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.
*We are no longer accepting proposals for co-funding and co-sponsorship for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Activities, projects and events that qualify for co-funding/co-sponsorship should have other funding sources and directly meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Foster a more diverse, equitable and inclusive campus environment
- Support intellectual dialogue on campus in fields directly related to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Bring people of different backgrounds together to participate in a campus event that celebrates and/or advances diversity, equity and inclusion at UCSC
Co-funding and co-sponsorship decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and can take up to two weeks from receipt of proposal. Decisions are made by the Co-Funding Committee, which, for the 2011-12 academic year, consists of Jan Cloud, Arts Division, Joy Lei, Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Michael Yamauchi-Gleason, Porter and Kresge.
Please submit a brief proposal to Joy Lei, Assistant Campus Diversity Officer, at diversity@ucsc.edu.

- Date/dates of activity, project or event
- Names of the activity, project or event organizers/leads (include campus affiliations) and/or sponsoring departments/organizations

- What is the amount of funding you are requesting and what will the funds be used for?
