2016-17 Diversity & Inclusion Certificate Program for Graduate Students
2016-17 Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program for Graduate Students
The Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is excited to announce our partnership with the Division of Graduate Studies to offer the Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program for Graduate Students. This program began in fall 2015 with a cohort of 15 graduate students crossing all academic disciplines. Graduate students are required to complete all seven core courses and the two graduate specific classes to earn their certificate of completion. All core courses include the staff and faculty program participants.
We have received excellent feedback thus far and will continue to offer this program to the first graduate student cohort during the 2016-17 academic year. We expect to add a second cohort to the program for the 2017-18 academic year.
The 2016-17 program for graduate students will be available to those graduate students part of the 2015-16 cohort. If you are a graduate student interested in joining the 2017-18 cohort, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The cohort/participant selection process will be managed by the Division of Graduate Studies. Once selected, ODEI will manually enroll participants in their classes.

Schedule Conflicts and Cancellations:
If you have a conflict in your schedule after registering for classes, please contact the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellations for core courses will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we highly discourage cancellations due to the high demand of participation in the certificate program.
