Waitlist Policy
We encourage you to join waitlists for courses you would like to attend. If a seat becomes available we will take participants off the waitlist in order of date registered and year in program. If the class still has remaining seats after all participants on the waitlist have been added, seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We understand that unplanned or unexpected events come up! Due to the popularity and high demand for this program, we have established the following policy to reduce the number of last minute cancellations and no-shows, and ensure that those who sign up for the program have the time commitment to attend the classes:
- Any participant who has exceeded three “last minute cancellations” or “no show” during the academic year will be removed from any other classes registered within the Certificate Program for the remainder of the academic year.
- Last minute cancellation: when a participant cancels their registration in the Learning Center or provides 24 hours or less notice via email that they are not able to attend the registered course.
- No Show: when a participant is registered for the course, does not cancel registration, and does not attend the course.
If you are aware you will be unable to attend a course more than 24 hours in advance please cancel your registration in the Learning Center. This will prevent you from receiving a “No Show’ or “Late Notice Cancellation” and will not count towards the yearly three maximum, resulting in removal from future courses during that academic year.
We encourage you to speak to your supervisor or manager prior to registering for classes to receive their approval to attend.
